The Arrikto EAP Program lets users try out pre-release software. The feedback you provide on quality and usability helps us identify issues, fix them, and make Arrikto software even better. Please note that since the public RC candidate software has not yet been commercially released by Arrikto, it may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not function as well as commercially released software. Be sure to back up your your data before installing beta software. Install the beta software only on non-production clusters that are not business critical. We strongly recommend installing on a secondary cluster.
EAP releases are not fully supported under the Arrikto Service Description, for example no SLA, support will be Best Effort. Features may not be functionally complete, and are not intended for production use. As Arrikto considers making future iterations of EAP features generally available, we will attempt to resolve any issues that customers experience when using these features.
During the development of a EAP release, additional EAP releases become available to the public for testing. Because EAP features are still under development, Arrkito cannot guarantee the stability of such features. As a result, if you are using Technology Preview features, you may not be able to seamlessly upgrade to subsequent releases of that feature.
Feature Inclusion in a Release
While Arrikto intends to fully support EAP releases in future GA releases, we may discover that a release does not meet the standards for enterprise viability. If this happens, we cannot guarantee that EAP release will be released in a supported manner. Some EAP releases may only be available for specific hardware architectures.
Arrikto Support may create bug reports on behalf of support cases filed by subscribed customers. These bug reports will then be forwarded to Arrikto Engineering as proposed for inclusion in a future GA release.
